Scientific Games has purchased Spicerack Media, the mobile and social media company responsible for the highly popular Bingo Showdown.
According to a press statement, SG believes Spicerack will complement its stable of social casino games and mobile offerings. Furthermore, Scientific Games chief executive Barry Cottle believes the deal will be “immediately accretive to earnings and cash flow.”
“We are excited by the addition of Spicerack’s talented team and complementary nature of their successful bingo game offering to our expanding portfolio of rapidly-growing social casino apps,” Cottle added.
Spicerack co-founder Davy Campano was every bit as upbeat as the SG CE: “We are excited to bring our product portfolio into a company with the reputation of Scientific Games.
“Their interactive business has seen rapid growth over a sustained period of time. [Spicerack]’s proud to be joining such a successful part of the company.”
