The 1935 Buffalo is one date that shows up often in a group of old nickels. When found in worn condition the 1935 nickel along with most dates of the 1930's is a common date. What is not often found are Buffalo nickels in 'uncirculated' condition. The 1935-S Buffalo Nickel had a mintage of just 10,300,000. The composition of these coins is copper/nickel. The diameter is 21.2mm. We use strict Photograde standards when grading all of our coins. Collectors should note that many of these coins suffer from poor strike.
